The National BikeSafe Show

On Saturday 29th March we had a ride to the National BikeSafe Show held at the Met Police Training Centre in Hendon. 11 people on 9 bikes turned up at the Holiday Inn at the Black Prince interchange on the A2 for a 10 o'clock start. The make up of our little group were 9 pack members on 7 bikes and 2 of my friends on BMW's (well someone has to ride them!) Another member of our Pack joined us at the show.

We set off and headed for the Blackwall Tunnel, taking the scenic route through the centre of London passing the Tower, the Embankment, Whitehall, Parliament Square, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park Corner, Park Lane and Marble Arch before picking up the A5 and then the A41 to the Show.

There was plenty to see with demonstrations by the emergency services, a wall of death, stunt riding show, Police dogs biting Policemen (lots of cheering with that one) and the Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team, better known as the White Helmets - had the pack photo taken with them at Chrissy's insistence.

We set off for the ride home about 4 o'clock and took the North Circular route back to the Blackwall Tunnel and the A2 home. From the feed back I've received, everyone had a very enjoyable day.
